The 2017 edition of the popular annual music concert, Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged, broke demographic barriers, as the show not only attracted A-list artistes, its attendance also cut across socio-economic strata.
It was indeed a night of fun that will go down as one of the best-attended events of the year. Those who graced the show included Ziad Maalouf, Managing Director, Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, Tony Elumelu, chairman, Heirs Holding, Femi Otedola, chairman, Forte Oil Plc, Amaju Pinnick, President, Nigeria Football Federation etc. Among the musicians that thrilled guests were popular London-based rapper, The Big Shaq, Pepsi music ambassadors: Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage, as well as Wande Coal and Olamide.
Anchored by Bovi and Basketmouth, two of Nigeria’s finest comedians, the show had a Pepsi blue carpet that provided a platform for guests and celebrities to show their sartorial elegance.
